Color and You
Color has always been something that I have really connected with. The subtleties and variations that can be contained in a single color are so interesting to me. Something that comes in handy when formulating colors in the salon. Knowing color theory is a key pillar to being a good Colorist. Knowing some color theory can be helpful to the client as well, when trying to pick the right hair color. Whether it's going from blonde to brunette or blue to pink. The color you pick impacts your self expression and overall outlook. It can be hard to choose a new color when you are looking for a change. Of course you want a color that is going to be flattering and look the best on you, but what if you chose a color based on what it could promote in your life?There is a part of color theory which suggests that different colors and undertones affect your mood and life in different ways.
